Professional Physical trainer, Totti Laryea has without mincing words stated that the Captain of the Black Stars Dede Ayew doesn’t deserve his current call up into the team.

The Black Stars will take on the Warriors of Zimbabwe on Saturday, October 12 at the Cape Coast stadium on matchday three of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers before travelling to Harare three days later for the reverse fixture.

Ghana’s coach, Milovan Rajevac, on Monday, September 27,2021 named a 32-man provisional squad for next month’s qualifying match. The list includes the skipper of the team, Dede Ayew .

Dede Ayew who now Plies his footballing trade with Al Sadd SC – a team being coached by Barcelona Legend Xavi Hernandez in the Qatar Stars League has so far scored three goals in three successive games.

Reacting to the 32-Man provisional squad in an interview on Radio Universe , Totti Laryea stated emphatically that Dede Ayew doesn’t deserve to be included in the squad.

According to the CEO of Train Like a Pro Gh, the captain of the Black Stars lacks the requisite fitness needed to play for the team.

“Dede Ayew is not fit…he needs a special physical trainer to help him gain his stamina…he is the Captain so he must work extra hard …when Stephen Appiah was the Captain, he worked extra hard”.Totti Laryea Said

“It’s a wrong move to go and play in Asia…training in Asia as a footballer is not effective like being in Europe …Even the training in Mexico is very effective than Asia “.He added

Totti Laryea became a professional physical trainer in 2015. He has helped local and international players like Gladson Awako(Hearts Of Oak) , Clifford Aboagye,(Mexico) Edmund Arko Mensah(FC Honka, Finland)Prince Arthur,(Tudu Mighty Jet) Bernard Arthur, Felix Akorlor(Techiman Eleven Wonders), and Abednego Tetteh (Hearts of Oak) to regain their fitness
